The Inaugural Distinguished Immigration and Citizenship Lecture

The Rutgers Center for Immigration Law, Policy and Justice hosted its inaugural Distinguished Immigration and Citizenship Lecture featuring Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas. The event started at 6 p.m. in the Center for Law and Justice at 123 Washington St. in Newark.
Vargas talked about his book, “Dear America: Notes of an Undocumented Citizen.”
The event kicked off with a book signing, followed by welcoming remarks and a Question and Answer session from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Books were also available for purchase.
